Dorian’s original song
Every video comes with the stretch of the official recording that the TikTok sound uses. Not a sound-alike, not an instrumental.
Add a photo of the one at the balcony railing and, if you like, a photo of the one the spotlight finds on the dance floor. You get a 6, 10 or 15-second vertical MP4 of the club scene from the “te he perdido entre la gente” trend, set to Dorian’s original song. No watermark.

The song
“La tormenta de arena” (“the sandstorm”) is a song by Dorian, an indie-electronic pop band from Barcelona, Spain, fronted by singer Marc Gili. It came out in 2009 on their third album, La ciudad subterránea, and as a single with a music video; the full track runs 6:08. It was on the soundtrack of the Spanish film Tres metros sobre el cielo in 2010.
There’s no dance to learn. The trend recreates a nightclub scene from that film, known in English as Three Steps Above Heaven: someone searches the crowd from a balcony and a spotlight finds one face. Around September 28, 2026 the first AI versions appeared, and by early October creators across Mexico and Latin America were posting their own on TikTok over about 15 seconds of the song, including the line “te he perdido entre la gente”, with partners, friends and pets in the leading roles.
Listen to the original
No editing needed: the AI builds all three shots and adds the song for you.
Photo 1 is the one at the balcony railing. Photo 2 is optional: it’s the one the spotlight finds. Leave it empty and the light lands on a stranger in a gold disco shirt.
6 seconds for 6 credits, 10 seconds for 13, or the full 15-second scene for 20. Same price with one photo or two.
It usually takes a few minutes. The video is saved to your account, so you can leave the page while it renders.

Three shots, one song
Shot one: the person from your first photo leans on the metal railing of a packed club’s upper balcony and looks down, searching. Shot two, over their shoulder: the dark dance floor full of people, until a single white spotlight drops onto one person. Shot three, from straight above: the one in the spotlight, your second photo or a surprised stranger, looks up into the camera right after “te he perdido entre la gente”.
Make My Spotlight VideoWhichever length you pick, and whether you add one photo or two, this is what you get.

Add the one who searches and the one the spotlight finds. Skip the second photo and the light lands on a moustached stranger in a gold disco shirt.
Cats and dogs work just like people: one pet per photo, face clearly visible, good light.
Packs start at $9.90. They’re one-time payments, not subscriptions, and your credits never expire.

The romantic version is the one everyone tags their partner in: you scan the club from the balcony, the spotlight finds them in the crowd, and they look up right on cue. Use your photo as photo 1 and theirs as photo 2, with their OK.
Pets are all over this trend: a chihuahua peering down from the balcony, a pug or a kitten lit up on the dance floor. Upload one pet per photo with its face clearly visible and let the spotlight do the rest.
The joke that made the trend: the one in the spotlight isn’t always who you were looking for. Add a friend striking a pose as photo 2, or leave it empty and the light falls on a surprised man with a thick moustache in a shiny gold disco shirt.
6 seconds costs 6 credits, 10 seconds costs 13, and the full 15-second scene costs 20, the same with one photo or two. One-time payments; credits never expire.
Single
One full scene, or three 6-second clips.
Trio
You, your partner and your pet.
Crew
Five full videos for the whole group chat.

It’s the TikTok trend also known as “te he perdido entre la gente” or the “I lost you in the crowd” trend: someone at a nightclub balcony searches the crowd, a white spotlight finds one person on the dance floor, and that person looks up, all set to Dorian’s song “La tormenta de arena”. It recreates a club scene from the 2010 Spanish film Tres metros sobre el cielo (Three Steps Above Heaven). This site turns your photos into a new AI version of that scene.
Signing in with Google takes one click, but making a video needs a credit pack; there’s no trial video. The smallest pack, Single, is $9.90 for 20 credits: one full 15-second video or three 6-second ones. Trio is $19.90 for 60 credits and Crew is $29.90 for 100, all one-time payments with credits that never expire.
If a render fails, we retry it once automatically at no cost; if it fails again, your credits are refunded. Photos turned down by the model’s content check, such as celebrity faces, screenshots with another app’s watermark, flags or political images, aren’t retried, and the credits come back. If you’re not happy with a finished video, email [email protected] and we’ll refund you.

It means “the sandstorm”. It’s the title of a 2009 song by Dorian, an indie-electronic pop band from Barcelona. The line everyone knows from the trend, “te he perdido entre la gente”, means “I’ve lost you in the crowd”, which is why English speakers call it the “I lost you in the crowd” trend.
Yes. Every video comes with the stretch of Dorian’s official recording that the TikTok sound uses, not a sound-alike or an instrumental. The 15-second version plays that whole stretch; the 6 and 10-second versions start later in the song, so the look-up still lands right after “te he perdido entre la gente”.
Yes, pets are one of the most popular versions of the trend. Put your cat or dog at the railing in photo 1 and another pet, or you, in photo 2. Use one pet per photo with its face clearly visible and good light.
Add a photo, pick a length and get your spotlight scene with Dorian’s song, ready to post on TikTok.
